“My digital aids are helping me have a much better life. When I listen to the TV, the sounds are more natural with hearing aids. I can hear my husband now, so he is much happier because I don’t keep asking him what he said. I also can hear things I drop on the floor. Before I couldn’t hear it and I couldn’t find it. We live on a corner and there are many children playing. They always seemed so quiet and now I hear them playing and enjoy hearing them play. Our signal lights on the van are easier to hear now. Visiting is so much nicer and now I can hear each person at coffee row. Before I couldn’t hear them and had no idea what they were talking about and now I join in. I was peeling a cucumber and heard a noise and realized it was the peeling of the cucumber – I was amazed – I never realized you could hear the cutting of the cucumber. “When I was thinking about buying hearing aids, I was wondering how I could stand to have something like that in my ears. I got used to them right away. “It has taken me awhile to write this note to you, mostly because I have had difficulty in trying to find the words to express my feelings about the hearing aids my Dad, Metro, purchased from you in January. Firstly, let me say that the kind, caring and personal attention that you gave Dad was very much appreciated by all of us. As you know, the day you came and fitted the aids on Dad was such an emotional and happy day for him as well for us, his family.  I think you must have been almost as excited as we were! We, as hearing people, take for granted our ability to hear.  How alienated a hard of hearing person must feel.  They can’t participate in group activities and even visiting with family and friends becomes difficult, because they have to call upon all their skills to even hope to carry on a meaningful conversation. The change that we have seen in Dad, since purchasing and using his hearing aids, has been tremendous.  His whole attitude has changed, and to say the least he has again become a happy and humorous man. Dad, who is 82 years old has had no difficulty in learning to use and properly care for his hearing aids.  Thank you so much for your knowledge of the product and your very precise instructions.  The time you were willing to spend with him to be sure that he knew as much as possible about the aids is certainly appreciated.
